Our Founder

Shri Kamlesh Patel, known as Daaji, is the founder of the Heartfulness Movement and president of Shri Ram Chandra Mission worldwide. A student of science and spirituality, he continues his research to make Heartfulness practices widely accessible. He has led global meditation events across educational institutes, corporates, medical facilities, and armed forces. Daaji established Kanha Shanti Vanam as Heartfulness' international HQ and launched initiatives like the Heartfulness Yoga Academy, Tree Conservation Center, and Wellness Center. 

His green initiatives, in collaboration with governments and farmers, have made Kanha home to 800,000 trees and rare species. Honored with the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India for his contributions to spirituality, he is also the Global Peace Ambassador of the Commonwealth. Daaji is a bestselling author of The Wisdom Bridge, Spiritual Anatomy, and The Power of Paradox. His inspiring journey and visionary leadership play a pivotal role in shaping today's champions at HISA and the Gopichand Academy.

Our Chairman

Pullela Gopichand was born on November 16, 1973 to Mr. Pullela Subash Chandra Bose and Mrs. Pullela Subbaravamma at Nagandla, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh and has completed his high school from St. Paul High School & graduation from A.V College in Hyderabad. Like most Indian kids, Pullela Gopichand too was initially drawn towards cricket and was introduced to badminton by his brother Pullela Rajsekhar, a good badminton player himself.

Gopichand has been awarded by International Olympic Committee as IOC Coaches Lifetime Achievement Award Coach of the year 2019. He is the first Indian Coach to receive an honorable mention in the male category of the prestigious 2019 International Olympic Committee’s Coaches Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of role he played in the development of the game in the country.

The IOC Coaches Lifetime Achievement Awards is an initiative of the IOC Athletes’ Entourage Commission to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions a coach has made to develop and encourage athletes in line with the Olympic values in summer or winter Olympic sports. Pullela Gopichand is also a popular professional motivational speaker who is always appreciated for his keynote content & stories which are not only inspiring and practical but also have applications in leadership, growth-mindset, change, teamwork, and overall inspiration.
